Jewellery & Watches at Peter Francis

The market for good jewellery and fine watches is very strong at the present time. At variance with the likes of big furniture and some traditional art, such items are always keenly contested in our sales. Estate consignments and private individual lots are a regular feature of our auctions and often turn up desireable pieces which make their mark, often selling online. Good watches, particularly from leading well known brands always fare well and military watches are a particular high flyer these days.

Peter Francis Auctioneers offer free verbal valuations for current market value for individual pieces, collections, heirloom and costume jewellery. Valuations can be carried out at the saleroom or one of our valuation days where we will be delighted to advise clients of conditon and estimates. Our valuation days are every Friday, the best time to get jewellery valued is between 1-4pm, please ring the office for an appointment.

Our fortnightly collectors auctions include a varied selection of Victorian and later jewellery and our Antiques and Fine Art sale is the pefect showcase for antique and modern gold and gemset jewellery.

We are also pleased to offer professional written valuations for insurance, family division and for the purposes of inheritance tax (probate).
