Have you every wondered if that attic-found oil painting is an original? Have you recently inherited a branded wristwatch or an item of period jewellery? Or perhaps it is simply that once treasured chattels are no longer to your taste?
Hot on the heels of a very successful February Fine Art sale Peter Francis Auctioneers will host a Charity Valuation Day later this month to raise funds and awareness for the Carmarthenshire Stroke Club (affiliated to the Stroke Association) and Blood Bikes Wales. The event will be staged at The Orangery at Margam Country Park, near Port Talbot on Saturday, March 23 from 10am-4pm.
Most of Peter Francis specialists will be on hand to offer valuations across a range of areas including jewellery, watches, silver, stamps, coins, postcards, militaria, pictures, ceramics, glass, Asian art, collectables, vintage fashion and textiles. As always, the firm is particularly keen on items of Welsh interest - be it a piece of Swansea porcelain, a folk art primitive chair or a fine painting .
While all valuations are complimentary, a donation will be suggested, with all proceeds going to the charities.
Parking is free and located 2 minutes from The Orangery.
