LATE VICTORIAN OFFICER'S HOUSEHOLD CAVALRY HELMET together with breast and back plates, the helmet with red horse hair plume for the Blues and Royals Horse Guards Regiment, the helmet with enamelled garter plate with silver plated skull, chain link leather chin strap with fabric lining, together with steel and brass breast and back plates with lion's head mounts and hinged shoulder straps. The helmet 45cm high approx. (3) (B.P. 24% incl. VAT)

Condition report
Lining of helmet is very poor, some wear through plating with dents and dinks to the skull, breast and back plates have tarnishing and adhered horse hair apparently. The enamel of the badge is in good condition with no obvious damage.
