Peter Francis hold an annual calendar of catalogued Auctions of Antiques and Fine Art which are widely advertised in newspapers and specialist publications. The catalogue is sent to our extensive mailing list of potential buyers, an international subscription mailing service and it is also available on this website. We also have regular sales of later Antiques, Collectors items and Household Effects. These sales are not catalogued but they are extensively advertised.
A free Appraisal Service is available where a Valuer will call and advise on the best method of selling the items you have, their saleability and value. Transport (and storage prior to sale) can be arranged.
A full House Clearance service is available, including free advice and prompt removal. All items will be appraised and directed to the most advantageous type of Auction; and we can provide for disposal of unsaleable items.
Country House Sales on the premises can be arranged where appropriate, on agreed special terms.

The Valuation Reports are professionally executed with detailed descriptions and include digital photographs. Fees are based on the value of items and the time involved. An initial appraisal without obligation can be made at no cost and a written quotation for producing the report can be given.
Probate Valuations are free of charge where the items are subsequently sold by us.
Peter Francis also provide the complete service to Executors, Solicitors, Banks and others, for Insurance, Probate and Division purposes. A full House Clearance service is available.
